I moved to London and found it genuinely hard to get a nice place. The decent listings appeared, vanished, and rewarded whoever happened to be refreshing at exactly the right moment. I built nestrrr as a small practical fix for my own search, it worked well enough that I kept using it, and now I am opening it up to help other renters get a fairer shot.

Finding a listing is easy. Seeing it at the right moment is the hard part.
Listing-site alerts exist, but they are often too slow for the places everyone wants. Manual refreshing works only if your timing is perfect - which is a ridiculous thing to ask of people with jobs, lives, and moving stress already on their plate.
